What's In A Name, Jun?
I'm going to start posting here about the meaning of names, and who else should I start it with than the very interesting Jun-kun? ;D

So what is it about Jun's name? :)

Is it fitting or not? :D

Jun: The Influential

positive: Charismatic, Convincing
negative: Stubborn, Overbearing

The extraordinary popularity of JN names may be a tribute to the letter J's ability to impart a sense of integrity, but the fact that these names also fall under the influence of the negative letter N is an indication of some dark secret, or a reflection of the JNs' occasional forays into self-doubt. Still, because these are people who have likely been treated since childhood as part of the in-crowd, they have extraordinary levels of self-confidence and equally resolute backbones.

Like most people whose names begin with the letter J, JNs have a strong sense of justice and will think nothing of putting themselves at personal disadvantage when they think they're doing the right thing. If your JN friend is a politician (as many J-named people are), he or she would be neither a hawk nor a dove: your JN friend is likely to be an owl. They are driven by the belief that the universe will take care of itself (as long as we take care of each other), and you can count on them for clearheaded counsel. But remember, as much as the JN will be your staunch defender in times of trouble, he or she will be a dangerous enemy if you contradict their definition of fair play.

When it comes to their work lives, JNs aren't going to be satisfied unless they feel they're making a difference (hmm, that sounds like Jun-kun :D). But whether they own their own businesses or work as artists, they're happiest when they're making the rules. These capable people have a propensity to take the lead in both their social and professional lives, and though hardly tyrannical, it's not unlike them to put their foot down when they sense their integrity has been challenged. If JNs have an Achilles heel, it has to be their stubborn streak (a consequence of believing that they really know how the world works). But JNs mellow well with age, the JNs' assertive nature rarely condenses into outright aggression (not always so with Jun xD).

JNs crave companionship and shine in relationships when their mates meet their internal criteria (this sounds so much like Jun based on magazine interviews). They function best with steady spouses who aren't addicted to constant change, but will probably be disappointments to lovers looking for fluffy expressions of romance. These are dignified, introspective individuals (yep, that's Jun-kun, alright), who simply don't have much time for games. JNs are into the nitty-gritty: nest building, upward-mobility, child rearing and retirement plans.

This is a really strong name. :)
